Reflection

In completing the task to create this blog, again (after what we have gone through in completing the lesson plan), we have gone through a lot of challenges and obstacles as we are not the experts in creating blog. As a matter of fact, this 'lucky' blog is our first blog which makes the experiences and all the things that we have faced in accomplishing the mission to make sure the existence of the blog is remarkable. ‘Trial-and-error’ was the best ‘abracadabra’ to live with as we tried and explored everything and what not in order to learn and get ourselves familiar with the blog. Finding all the information, selecting them and come out with our own interpretation and understanding was quite challenging not to mention how we need to struggle in order to distribute our time, energy and concentration fairly with the tasks from other courses that are waiting to be attended and completed.

However, as beginners, we learn a lot of what a blog can provides its user and people out there. It benefited us in so many ways such as how efficient and fast it is nowadays to discuss our concern over something in a very useful way that can trigger other people's attention towards the desired topic. Another devastating part would be the complexity of applying and editing things in the blog, the right discourse to be used in the blog so that it will enthralled other people to participate in the discussion, or at least understand and willing to take some time to ponder upon the topic of discussion.

Moreover, this task has tested us critically on our responsibility and cooperation between our group members. We learn how to be considerate, understanding and at the same time try to give the best that we can no matter how. To apply that, we have to also fully operate many aspects of skills such as our communication, language, research and computer skills. In short, we really have to be dynamic in characters and skills other than staying positive through out this challenging task.

However, despite all the difficulties, we enjoyed and cherished every moment and every error that we have done for the sake of learning and perfecting this blog. In the end, Alhamdulillah, with His will and our effort, we managed to complete this task.

We would like to take this opportunity to express our special thanks to our Journalism lecturer, Sir Halim Taib(a former journalist from Bernama) for being so kind to let us to have an interview with him and gave us his opinion on lexical borrowing. We have gain a lot of information on lexical borrowing from the interview. However, it is such a shame that we cannot upload the video due to some problem. Nevertheless, all the information that we have gathered during the interview has been included in the blog. Thank you again to Sir Halim Taib for all his kindness and the information.
